Had an issue with my vehicle requiring roadside recovery following departure from Dick Lovett after having a coolant flush carries out. BMW rectified the fault quickly and offered to reimburse recovery costs out of courtesy.

Claire was very good in keeping in touch about progress. It was a pleasant surprise to be given a discount on the service price to acknowledge the ERG recall. The car was washed and vacuumed after Claire noticed that it had not been done.

I forgot to ask for the manual handbrake to be tightened / adjusted, but thought this would have been spotted during the service and road test. I also would have expected the tire pressures to have been checked and adjusted. Tires were low.

Work completed as required, but disappointed to find marks of dirt to front passenger seat. Oyster leather so obvious someone with dirty overalls had sat in car not taking care to protect seat with temporary cover. I would not expect this from BMW.

Engineer pointed out a bad installation of rear springs by Halfords that could have cost me a lot of money. Halford have resolved the issue. He also was very informative on a repair that I will have to do soon ( rear differential)
